Has your week been different?

Brokers / 16th April

It’s certainly been a week of change. The first months of 2021 have been arguably the most challenging from a lockdown perspective as we’ve all had to endure the rather dismal winter weather alongside everything else, but change is afoot. Not only are warmer, longer days on the way, but the lifting of restrictions over the last few days has brought a bright spot to the pandemic timeline and a moment for celebration. So what has this meant for you?

A gradual return to normal

A collective sigh of relief has been felt this week as some key Covid-19 restrictions have been eased and hopefully consigned to history. May be you are reading this post from a ‘staycation’ break with your family or bubble – the holiday let industry is finally open; perhaps you’ve attended a zoom call this week with a smart new hair cut; or you’ve supped your first post lockdown pint in a beer garden; dined alfresco at a restaurant rather than having to rely on a take away; or visited your favourite retail store. It’s a great feeling to be out and about again isn’t it?

New opportunities for brokers

With many industries opening up again this is also the ideal time for brokers to contact customers or prospect clients as new levels of insurance cover may be needed. Do you have a customer whose business has diversified; changed its core function completely; or simply needs to reactivate vital insurance protection now their business is fully trading again? Premium finance remains a great way for customers to access cover, spreading the cost over monthly payments making it a more affordable option and needed more than ever right now.

Business as usual

As throughout the pandemic, the Premium Credit team is here to support you and your customers. Whether you need to speak to us in person about your premium finance needs or you wish to conduct business through our state of the art, self-service digital options, we’re here for you, helping you to grow your business and provide your customers with wider payment options.

We look forward to catching up with you again soon.
