How long have you worked at Premium Credit?
I’ve been with Premium Credit for just over 16 years.
What roles have you had?
During this time, I’ve had a number of different roles within the organisation. I started off as a Developer, moving on to become a Delivery Manager managing a team of about seven developers. Following a personal decision to move away from being ‘hands on’ with development and specific technologies, I was provided the opportunity to become a Business Analyst. I was then promoted to Senior Business Analyst and more recently have taken on the role of Business Architect, looking at IT and business architecture and strategy.
How has your career developed?
Premium Credit has provided me plenty of opportunity to develop, both personally and professionally, and allowed me to move both sideways and upwards within the organisation, aligning with my aspirations as they have changed and matured over time. From starting out as a developer, I now lead the business architecture and strategy function and report directly to the CIO.
Why do you enjoy working for Premium Credit?
Premium Credit is small enough to be a close-knit team pulling in the same direction, and at the same time have a proven track record of fantastic financial performance and continue to be the market leader in their field. Relationships are strong through all the tiers of the organisation and it’s not uncommon for executives to interact directly with operational staff. Premium Credit invests significant time and attention in its people, recently expressing an even greater desire to become an employer of choice. For those not keen on the city commute, the location is great, and the new offices provide a fantastic working environment.
