To celebrate International Women’s Day and women in the workplace, our Diversity & Inclusion Council have introduced the inaugural Premium Credit Woman of the Year award, with the aim to celebrate our female workforce. As such, our colleagues have been nominating women from around the business, who inspire them; and it’s been incredible to see the plethora of truly heartfelt and caring nominations. Our very first winner joined our Premium Credit International Women’s Day panel to discuss what it takes to be a successful working woman.
Emma from our Customer Onboarding & AML team, is our very first International Woman of the Year, nominated for her quality to build people up around her, especially women, creating a supportive and open environment. A manager and mother of 3, soon to be 4, has had to overcome many hurdles – including home-schooling – but her compassion, kindness and empathy never falters and continues to inspire others in the workplace.
In our International Women’s Day panel on Monday, Emma, amongst other great women within Premium Credit discussed what it really takes to be a successful working woman. From this discussion lead a number of top tips which would hopefully inspire other women to strive for something and not be held back by self-doubt.
