Networks & Trade Bodies: the mouthpiece of the industry

Brokers / 7th March

Networks and Trade Bodies play a vital role within the marketplace, representing their members interests and providing a mouthpiece within the industry. They enable their members to raise issues, lobby for change and ensure that the most pressing subjects are discussed. They provide an excellent platform for us to understand the collective view of their membership, and how we can better support our partners.

Throughout the year, we attend Network and Trade Body events to keep us connected with membership groups to ensure we are keeping our finger on the pulse of the industry.

Our first event of the year was the ABI conference, attended by our Chief Sales Officer, Owen Thomas, and Strategic Account Manager, Dave Sheath. This was followed by the Bravo Networks conference, held on 2nd and 3rd March, attended by our Head of Networks, Chris Emmanuel and Key Account Manager, Jim Meikle. At these conferences, we spoke to our partners about the benefits of our proposition, the improvements already made to our customer and partner journeys based on their feedback, future enhancements coming later this year and sought their input to ensure we understand their needs and the needs of our mutual customers. Working together is critical to address consumer confidence.

In addition to those mentioned above, we are proud to support many other Networks and Trade Bodies, including:

  • British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA)
  • Managing General Agents' Association (MGAA)
  • Bravo Networks
  • UNA Alliance
  • Willis Towers Watson Networks
  • Brokerbility
  • Airmic
  • Chartered Insurance Institute (CII)

We are already preparing for many of the conferences connected to these partnerships, the next one being BIBA in May quickly followed by BrokerFest in June. We hope to see you there.
