We’re delighted that our Capability Team has been named as a finalist in the ‘Investing in the Profession’ category at this year’s British Insurance Awards.

The objective of our Capability Team is to provide expert broker experiences, from on-boarding to growth opportunities, through Learning and Development – something which caught the eye of those on the judging panel. The team’s dedicated on hand support for brokers leads to staff confidence in processing agreements and offering finance to clients, creating increased net advances from our partners. The CPD accredited sessions are not only dedicated to providing our partners with premium finance support, but also helping our brokers grow their books, increase retention and improve their income stream.

When thrown into lockdown, the Capability Team quickly adapted to deliver digital training options and support to our partners across the UK. They designed and created their own booking platform in a very short period, which has allowed them to deliver multiple online courses on a daily basis and maintain relationships and build rapport along the way. Hopefully face to face training will return soon!

Our team of 4 supports some 3,000 partners across Britain and have trained over 7000 individuals over the last year. They use expert knowledge alongside market insights to design and deliver fresh new material that reflects changes in the market, the economy and have supported individuals through the impact of remote working during Covid, both mentally and in the ability to perform.

For three of our biggest partners, our training helped increase premium finance net advances by an average of 54%. The British Insurance Awards are a great evening for the whole insurance community to celebrate excellence and, Covid-19 restrictions permitting, the awards will attract 2,000 ‘in person’ guests from all over the country. Winners from 28 categories will be announced covering general insurance, SMEs, claims specialists, brokers, underwriters and companies that provide services to the UK insurance sector - we’re proud that we’ll be flying the flag for the premium finance sector.
